The Russian-American blogger, Andrei Martyanov, posted today about the importance of the Chinese Defense Minister, Li Shangfu, meeting with Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

Coming on the heels of Chinese President Xi Jinping's three day visit to Moscow just last month, it would be fair to presume that Li Shangfu's presence is for the purpose of nailing down concrete military details.
The fact that he met with the Russian Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu -- and also with Vladimir Putin -- means that whatever they discussed involved high level matters of state, requiring Vladimir Putin's personal attention.
Presumably they would have discussed issues such as the Taiwan situation, the war in the Ukraine, and military threats from NATO and the U$$A, Inc.
Martyanov says, and I agree, that: "Putin, meeting Li Shangfu in (the) Kremlin was a sign of blessing and a starting gun of whatever Russia and China agreed upon in March this year."

Notice that just before shaking Putin's hand, Li Shangfu -- the Chinese Defense Minister -- gives Putin a military salute, implying that Putin is his military superior. This was thus a very high level, military meeting, involving the Defense Ministers of Russia and China, and the Russian head of state.
Remember that just last month Xi Jinping was in Moscow. As he took his leave of Vladimir Putin he tellingly said:
“Right now there are changes – the likes of which we haven’t seen for 100 years – and we are the ones driving these changes together.”
Putin replied: “I agree.”
Mere weeks later Xi Jinping sends his Defense Minister to Moscow for hours of direct talks with Vladimir Putin.
What are they planning? I don't know, but we are sure to find out. Men like Li Shangfu don't fly to Moscow to talk for hours with Vladimir Putin about nothing.
Vladimir Ilyich Lenin observed in 1917 that: “There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen.”
As the Empire of the U$$A, Inc. crumbles, as the U$$A dollar is abandoned more and more by the rest of the world, the decisive moment will come when the U$$A, Inc. will have to either fight against, surrender to, or agree to peacefully coexist with the power blocs represented by the BRICS countries, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and regional and global military powers such as Russia, China, Iran and North Korea.
If the U$$A, Inc. and its allies opt for military confrontation, then Lenin's succinct statement may have to be rewritten something like this: “There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where centuries or millennia happen.”
